SDGs上映会「ヴィック・ムニーズ／ごみアートの奇跡」
第9回の3月はひらおかアートマーチ！世界を変えていくようなアートの物語をあなたへ…「ヴィック・ムニーズ／ごみアートの奇跡」を上映します。

「ごみ」を生み出す生き物は人間だけといいます。「いらないもの」「あってはならないもの」と人々が突き放す先にあるのは誰かが生み出し、個人が所有していた「必要なもの」だったはず。アートの材料として、こんなに魅力的なものはないかもしれません。
本作は、ごみ問題だけではなく、アートを通した格差解消・自己実現・社会改革の実録です。日本人では知りえなかった世界のムーブメントを体感してみませんか？
当日は、ブラジル料理を味わいながら、映画にインスパイアを受けたアートワークショップ「アップサイクルアート体験」を実施します。

Monthly SDGs movie theater. “Waste Land”

This month is Hiraoka Art March! We will show you a story of art that can change the world ... “Waste Land” .

"When you change your perspective, you see the world differently. Even the reality that seems to be the end of the world is beautiful when you see it up close.
Vik Muniz, a successful contemporary artist who was born into a poor family and became one of the world-famous artists, has carried out a social project in his hometown of Brazil to give back his benefits to society. The lives of the marginalized people who work at the world's largest garbage disposal site, but the individual garbage collectors will shine brightly through the art.

It is said that humans are the only creatures that produce garbage. What people push away as "unnecessary things" and "things that shouldn't exist" should have originally been "necessary things" created by someone and owned by individuals. As an art material, garbage may be nothing more attractive than this.
This work is not only a garbage issue, but also a true film of dealing with social disparity, self-realization, and social reform through art. Would you like to experience the movements of the world that we could hardly know in Japan?
On the day of the event, as enjoying Brazilian cuisine, we will have an art workshop inspired by the movie "Upcycle Art Experience".
